Beautiful Murano glass table lamp, likely made by Pietro Toso but not marked. This lamp is made using the sommerso technique. This technique is used to create several layers of glass inside a single object, giving the illusion of “immersed” colors that lay on top of each other without mixing. In this case the glass has an ocher yellow / gold color with a clear overlay, absolute stunner. In great condition, the brass has a crack on the point of attachment, the fitting is not a 100% level from every viewpoint. No chips or cracks in the glass.
